Exploration Geologist

Responsibilities:

1. Execution of all exploration activities in accordance with company’s “Target Zero Harm” policy
2. Conduct grassroots exploration in Esan's focus areas of interest
3. Collection, compilation, data management, and interpretation of geological information from exploration programs including diamond drilling, mapping, geophysics, and surface sampling etc.
4. Analysis, compilation, digitization, and reporting of historical data
5. Ensure data integrity and implementation of QAQC procedures
6. Liaising and managing exploration contractors
7. Weekly and monthly exploration reporting to Exploration Manager

Requirements:

1. BSc degree in Geology required with MSc degree in economic geology preferred
2. 5+ years’ experience in mineral exploration
3. Familiarity with various international reporting standards (NI 43-101, JORC code)
4. Strong technical knowledge and experience from one or more deposit styles; VMS, Porphyry Cu and Orogenic Au deposits
5. Geological, geochemical, geophysical interpretive and integration skills
6. Competent with mining and exploration software; preferably Micromine and ArcGIS
7. Excellent English or Tukish written and verbal communication skills
8. Able to work at remote location
9. Exceptional leadership, time management, communication, and organizational skills
